bootstrap -VerifyOnly
Validates the vendored lock and the offline build baseline.
Build & download
OwlCommander builds with Rust 1.98.0 against a pre-fetched vendored dependency set. Normal work always uses offline, locked builds; versions and commits are recorded in UPSTREAM_LOCK.json.
Requirements
| Toolchain | rustup toolchain install 1.98.0 |
| Dependencies | pre-fetched .cargo/vendor (offline) |
| Build dir | vendor/gpui-component/examples/dock |
| Artifact | target/debug/OwlCommander.exe |
Build commands
.\scripts\bootstrap.ps1 -VerifyOnly cargo +1.98.0 build --locked --offline ` --manifest-path vendor\gpui-component\Cargo.toml ` -p example-dock
The binary lands at vendor\gpui-component\target\debug\OwlCommander.exe.
Data layout
On first run the exe creates a Data/ folder beside itself and keeps every setting, session and cache there — nothing is written to %APPDATA%. A config folder left behind by an older version under %APPDATA%\OwlCommander\ is moved into Data/ automatically.
